Fish - Taxonomy for the Koi/Goldfish ponds

Domestic koi are believed to be a color variant of the species listed above.  No true classification has been reached.  All types of Goldfish are the same species.  The pet trade over the years has blurred the lines in what the actual classifications are for either Koi or Goldfish.
